Or why it's worth getting up early
As a wedding photographer you are often asked if there are wedding photos that are special to you. That's why I chose my personal wedding photo of the year 2015. A hard decision, but among all these pictures I really love, this one made it. It has been shot in May 2015 at Castle Gartrop near Hünxe, North Rhine-Westfalia, on the wedding of Raya and Dom.
Those two had decided to have their wedding a bit different from others. The ceremony was held on Castle Raesfeld on the eve of Beltane, at midnight and only lit by candles. They had a nice celebration afterwards. But we still managed the transfer to Gartrop and getting up again with sunrise to have portraits around the castle with fantastic morning light. Who needs sleep anyway!? More photos are sure to come.
