As a wedding photographer in Frankfurt I can tell you a lot about getting married and celebrating in this beautiful city. Affectionately known as "Mainhattan", Frankfurt am Main is not only the largest city in Hesse, but also the place where most Hessians get married. No surprise because Frankfurt is a good choice for weddings and wedding photos.
As a city of contrasts, it exerts a tremendous fascination - high-rise canyons made of glass and steel on one side, narrow streets and half-timbered houses on the other. Industrial flair alternates with Wilhelminian style villas and "Büdsche". International city and center of the banking industry and yet somehow just a village.
And in between there always flows the river Main.
And the possibilities to get married in Frankfurt are as varied as the city itself.
Whether small and cozy or large and impressive - Frankfurt and its districts offer enough dream locations for a civil, church or free wedding ceremony. And afterwards you can celebrate wonderfully in the countless cafés, bars and restaurants and many other great wedding venues. The skyline shines above everything. There are some really great locations for your wedding in Frankfurt. The classic is likely to be a civil wedding in the Römer or in the Bolongaropalast in Höchst. Both are surprising with the fact that as a wedding location they are so completely different from what one might assume from afar. All around there are countless possibilities for wedding photos literally just waiting to be used as backdrop.
Whatever you have planned, as a wedding photographer in Frankfurt you don't have to worry about the right motifs for wonderful wedding photos.
The Wedding Rooms
Both in the Römer and in the Bolongaropalast, weddings are part of the day-to-day business, i.e. civil weddings are possible there practically every day throughout the year. In the palm garden, in the Nikolauskapelle and in the town hall Seckbach weddings are only possible on selected dates - in the palm garden e.g. only on Fridays and only from May to September. You can get detailed information at the registry office of the city of Frankfurt.

The most Beautiful Wedding Venues in Frankfurt
Frankfurt is also a great place to celebrate a wedding and the list of potential locations for the wedding reception is practically endless. From a beach bar on the Main quay, fine cuisine on a ship, industrial locations in the harbor district to chic hotels, small bars and great restaurants. Frankfurt is not a town and so there is something here for every wedding and every taste.
