Wedding Bolongaro Palace, Frankfurt-Hoechst
Small but sweet wedding in Frankfurt-Hoechst, Bolongaropalast, Old Town Hoechst and brunch on a hotel boat
A few days ago, I have handed over the photos of a fantastic wedding in the Uckermark, now the album of a Japanese wedding at the Schlosshotel Kronberg is in the works and the photos of Felicity and Dennis have freshly landed in Perth, Australia. Today my Lightroom awaits me with five other weddings - a wedding in Wiesbaden in an old industry hall, a wedding on an old castel (where I did not leave until dawn), a wedding with two boys and three bridesmaids in Schlosshotel Kronberg, a wedding at the Kloster Hornbach in the Palatinate and finally a wedding in Frankfurt-Hoechst, followed by celebration at the hotel boat Schlott on the River Main.
So we're back on topic. In fact I've already been there the year before. It was only a short visit on an early Friday afternoon, but in the short time there was so much to see. So here comes the wedding of Heinke and Uli - a civil ceremony in Bolongaropalast in Hoechst, followed by a reception on the banks of River Main and a joint photo walk through the Old Town of Hoechst We met swans, archways, a small child which simply fell over in sheer enthusiasm seeing a wedding dress, flowers, old frame houses, cyclists and in a nice postwoman. We had a lot of fun and an amazing set of pictures, which a bit was also due to the supposedly bad weather. Midday sun simply is evil. And therefore we wedding photographers most of the time are extremely grateful for clouds of any kind. ;)
