2020 was a bit special...
And somehow it's quite consistent that there is not a single photo from 2020 among this years "Best Nine". It just shouldn't be.
It wasn't because there were so few weddings. Admittedly, a large part was postponed to 2021 or even 2022 and a few even canceled entirely. But anyway 2020 had some really nice weddings in store - despite Corona conditions. It must have been a lack of motivation that I rarely put new stuff on social media this year. Because it would have had potential.
There was a lot of new to learn in 2020. For example that in Königstein you can get married on a large balcony and therefore more guests are allowed to attend the wedding than anywhere else.

Or that a "hygiene concept" does not necessarily have to be sterile and unattractive, but can also be really neat and beautiful like the herb tables at the Weidenmuehle. And that rules and everything always depend on how flexible people are wo work with these rules and around them. And finally I discovered my new favorite location - the Backschaft - a restaurant on a ship cruising on the river Main for reception and party - super stylish and super delicious.
Of course, most weddings were much smaller than originally planned and the omnipresent masks, limited numbers of people at the weddings and constant planning uncertainty were noticeable drawbacks.
And yet (or maybe because of that) there was a lot of love, many great moments, here and there even a boisterous party (always with a hygiene concept) and of course the corresponding wedding photos.
