What do wedding photographers do during the supposedly quiet off-season? In addition to renovation our office, layouting long overdue wedding albums, many meetings with interested bridal couples and finally getting first normal doses of sleep, ocasionally there are also photography competitions on the agenda - something we as wedding photographers rarely find time for during high season.
Ane one of the most prestigious competitions in the industry is that of the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP)* and the results from that arrived this very day: Among the thousands of submissions of numerous colleagues from all over the world, 5 of my images are among the winners, in overall granting me an awesome 11th place over all categories. I'm REALLY happy! :-)
Congratulations also to the many other great colleagues out there!
Thanks to small 'Mr. Bean', to Anna, Philipp, Papa Class, Ramona, Peter and all the friends of the strawberry-heart-cake ('Nom-Nom-Nom')!
Something for the tech savvy:
My winner photos are entirely shot 'mirrorless', ie not with a big DSLR, but 'only' with 'EVIL' cameras (Olympus OM-Ds in this case). ;-)
