A bit provocative maybe, but true. After all, there is no patent formula for your photos, no one-size-fits-all approach. Every wedding is different and brings with it new ideas for personalized photos. They have to emerge from the situation, spontaneously and without pressure, by working with you as a team!

That's why it is so important that the chemistry between you and the photographer is just right. In order for you to be at ease in front of the camera, we need to understand each other. That's how truly vivacious and "real" photographs are created. And that's why we should get to know each other!

About me and BRAUTRAUSCH®

I was born in Usingen in the Taunus region near Frankfurt/Main in 1975 and began taking my first pictures at the age of 12. Even years later, during some "detours" in the world of business and leasing, I never put down the camera. The hobby developed into a passion and, as if it were fate, turned into a (part-time) job in 2005.

Today, I live in Bad Homburg with my wife (when she isn't singing at the theater), three cats and one or two "dogs in law," and I have dedicated my photographer's heart entirely to wedding photography.

The theme for my photography is capturing real life - rain or shine, inside or outside, at home or abroad. So far, I've shot more than 100 weddings, during which I have met countless fascinating, ordinary and extraordinary people, and every time, I experience what I enjoy most about photography... a whole lot of fun.

The primary focus of your wedding isn't about getting your picture taken, it's about you! Your guests, your celebration - your moments and what you make of them. The focal point of your wedding photos lies on a vivid recording of your wedding day, with minimal orchestration or staging. Glamor and action are created in a casual way, without impacting the course of your day too much and often at times when you won't even notice.

Location doesn't matter. Great photographs don't require parks or palaces. They develop inside the mind, inspired by the ability to play with and accept the resources at hand and to vary and improvise, and finally, to make the best of it all in the end. It's not about planning life; it's about opening yourself up to it, engaging in it and rediscovering it time and again.
